Okay, there it is in writing....Its about time I got off the pot and take this more seriously! I am going to have my 2nd fill today. I currently have 4ccs so far. I know I can eat way to much at one time, ie: a plate of food. My choices need to be better, and need to get moving......is everyone going to move more too? How about it?

Thanks for the challenge.....the goal is: feeling better than I do now

LETS GO NOVEMBER NYMPHS--------------WHOOOOHOOO:thumbup:

Just got back from my cruise to Alaska. I didn't gain any weight!!!! I am very pleased because they had so much food there. I couldn't eat much and didn't feel deprived because I ate a small bit of my favorites a couple times and that worked. Not sure I can do 10 pounds but I'm going to try!! I'm going in for a small fill tomorrow morning...maybe .1 or .2 if I can.

Well, I started off the challenge by GAINING 4 POUNDS IN ONE WEEK and I didn't even go anywhere or eat anything fun!

I am quite certain that this is Water weight. I came down with pink eye and a terrible cold this week. Also, I am an emotional mess because I had to put my 15-year old Border collie (Dave) down yesterday. Sigh.

There is no way that I am going to record this weight. I can only hope that next week will be kinder.

oooh foofy I am so sorry about your baby......I too have been in your shoes, it sucks, it hurts, and most ppl don't understand the truley deep love you felt for him, and him for you.....just know I do  Just last night I spent the whole night wondering if powder (my cat of 12 yrs) was going to make it....she mysteriously was hiding, slinking to the floor, odd meows almost like she was hurt. It tore me up, we went to the vet today and got labs done (waiting for results) and other tests.....doc not sure what to make of her behaviour, so he wants to chk results....she got antiobotic/anti-inflam shot, as well as blood drawn. So now I wait and worry.....also my sister is in for a 6 hr back operation today....omg anymore worries today?! She is far away from me too.....she lives in Ontario. Well thats enough rambling from me...

So pick yourself up and get busy, time will help you with your heart and the bonus will be your wt-loss...

hugs, Debbie

Thanks Kuchie. Dave was wonderful, but it was his time to go. They can't cure old age. I also lost my 18-year old cat last month. I will wish the best for your powder. Twelve is the prime of life for a kitty - much too young to go.

I wanted to go for the gusto and say my goal was 199 but I realize that 35 pounds in less than 2 months is a bit unrealistic, so 15 - I think I can manage that.

I am struggling with an older pet with problem, too. My 15 y/o golden retreiver just had a lump on his leg removed. It was sent for biopsy as it could be cancerous. He has no appetite since the surgery, hope he's not in pain, seems lethargic. We'll have the results in a couple days.

He's the last of four pets we had at one time. Two dogs and two cats. The first dog ( small breed) lived past 17.5 years and the cats were at least 18 years old. It's so hard bringing them to the vet that last time and having to make that decision. I think this will be our last pet and that's hard to accept also. Don't know if I can start all over with another puppy.

They are such a big part of the family, I'm sorry when anyone has to go through that process.

I feel your pain, both of you. I've lost two of my babies in the two years. Sweetie, my kitty who was nearly 19 when she passed while I was away at my son's high school graduation ceremony and Buddy, my other sweet little kitty who just passed two months ago at the age of 15. Now all I do is worry about my dog, Cocoa, as she is quite old as well.

I hope your kitty is okay Kuchie. Foofy, I have no doubt that your babies are now hanging out together waiting for you to show up.

Foofy - I am so sorry about Dave. It is so hard. I had to put my 13 yr old Toy Poodle down last year in April. It was so hard. I still miss him so much.

Debbie - I hope Powder is okay. That is so scary. Let us know what happens.

Shortgal - I hope you get good results on your golden. Let us know the results.

Holly - I hope your Cocoa stays healthy and I am so sorry about the 2 you lost.

Big hugs to all of you.

I got another puppy in August. She is a Cockapoo and turned one on April 22. She was born the same day that I had to put Cody (Toy Poodle) down. I knew it was fate and she was supposed to be mine when I saw that she was born that day. Animals are the best.

Thank you all for your kind words, and support....i have been not stop crying with worry....over protective mother i guess....the vet did a full body look over, mouth etc....nothing outstanding, full bladder though. They gave her a shot of antibiotic, and also anti-inflam, drew blood and sent her home....she has had Water and a little food so far....i cleaned the litter box to watch for voiding.....but she did it in her carrying case instead as she keeps hiding in her litter box.....so strange....i should get the results from the blood work tomorrow. I will let you all know.....

hugs to all of you for your losses....muwah

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
