I am scheduled for my surgery on May 13!:biggrin2: I was just wondering how long you stayed in the hospital after your surgery?? My dr. said if I don't have any probs I could probably go home that same day....

I was in and out in about 6 hours total.

I was an overnight stay because I had to have an upper GI the next morning. It was the second most miserable night of my life. No sleep at all! Fortunatly, I had some company and the T.V.!

Only the second most miserable night of your life? I ain't gonna ask what your first most miserable one was......:biggrin:

I'm hoping for a stay, at least overnight. I live about 2 1/2 hours away from my surgeon and the thought of traveling that far right after surgery does not thrill me.

My surgeon keeps his patients overnight. Personally, I was glad to not have to go home right afterwards.
