yes it will change. you are in the period known as "bandster hell" where you don't have proper restriction. I know that I felt just like you and was super hungry all the time...could eat anything too.

viv...i feeling the same exact way! this thursday will be 5 weeks...i get my first fill on monday april, 7th! i'm hoping it makes me feel different!!

thanks for the feedback. The only good thing is I don't eat as much as I use to lots less but still it seems like a lot when you have LB.

My frist fill 4/8 I will tell Dr. Ren "filler up Doc"

I've been going through the same thing. I'm having my 3rd fill tomorrow and hopefully the doctor will "fill it up: like you said. I hope I'll be out of bandster hell. But I'll have to follow with 2 days of liquids so I'll really see when I return to food. Lets hang in there until we reach the sweet spot everyone talks about.

Hi Girls,

I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm in bandster hell too. I have no restriciton and have had 2 fills. I am having my third fill tomorrow and hope to get some restriction at leas to give me motivation to watch what I eat. Everything goes down now. Let's hang in there until restriciton. I hear it really works once you get there

I've had my doubts that this would work, too, but it is, just very slowly.

I feel hungry occasionally and don't seem to feel any restriction after one fill. However, I am still losing...slowly. I go in for fill #2 on 4/4, maybe I'll feel more restriction/less hunger then. But, I guess right now it's ok; I'm still losing even while eating more than I thought I would be at this point. Maybe it's the best of both worlds.

I feel like I am hungery more often, but can't eat as much in one sitting as I used to. I think my first fill (April 18th) will help out with the hunger. I am going to try the protien drinks 2x a day, and I think that will help. I gained 1/2 lb over the weekend, but have lost it now. I really just want to loose weight. My doctor did say that there may be a little weight gain before the first fill. The only thing restricting our hunger is if you have swelling in your stomach from the surgery, as the swelling goes down (and before your first fill) we will have the erge to eat more.

At about 4 - 5 weeks out , the 2 ounces of protein that I was eating didn't last until the next meal, I kept getting hungry, so my Doctor added some vegetables to my diet. Then I had my first fill at 6 weeks, I have restriction now and if I eat too much it doesn't go down. Hang in there.
