Recommended Posts

Alright folks, it's been 2 months, who else is going to be brave with me and post some "WIP" photos!

Until I saw mine I didn't have any idea that there was a visual different to how I looked.

But on the brave boots, show me what ya got!

Lookin good Ang. I really see your results. I know I follow your blog and stuff and worry about how much you beat yourself up, not that I'm any different by any means. So just know that it shows girl!!

I'll get some pics on here soon. I've been thinking about starting this thread for a while so glad to see that someone else did it.

My next fill is April 1st and I can't wait, I've had 2 fills and still no restriction!:)

Thanks! I really try to not beat myself up, I swear I do. my most recent blog post was a big eye opener to my thought process and has helped me to figure out why I've been so frustrated lately. I still get frustrated thinking that I am not doing it right (I have no restriction and don't measure my food, but I am only consuming 1200'ish calories a day and going to Curves 4x a week). I am looking forward to my 2nd fill Apr 4 hopefully it brings me to some restriction. The hair cut looks kinda crazy (that's a pic after a work out hehe).

Can't wait to see your pics when you post them (and everyone elses!)

I can see a big difference. :0)

Before the band I avoided pictures like the plague. Now I really regret not getting more before pictures that show that level of detail. I am motivated to take some now before I get much further along so that I can share them as well.

Congrats on your shrinking waistlines.

Thanks you all!

Ang, you are looking great too.

I really enjoying seeing pictures of people and their success. It is so inspiring! I need constant reminders that this is doable!

Hehe, thanks. I agree I always go poking through the before and after thread and in separate monthly's threads to see progress pictures. They are such a great reminder and constant inspiration. :crying:

OK, I'm going to try to post pics but I'm an idiot when it comes to this crap...ok here it goes...I don't have "clinical" pics, I actually wish I did like Ang....I just didn't take any, but I have face pics.

I see a difference, I have a neck now (nicely, pointed out to me by my gramma)....so 1st pic is early November right when I started on pre-op diet so maybe -6 from highest and the 2nd is 3/5/08 -47 lbs total

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
