I've got a Bullet now too! :banana Thanks to a very special lady who got me one as a gift, I've been having fun with it the last 2 days!

I used it last night to make my Protein drink, and then used it just a bit ago to make my tuna. I love it! And it cleans up so easily too! It just doesn't get any easier than this!

Woooohooooo!!!!!!

Basically, there's the regular one, without the blender and juicer regular price is around $69.00, but on sale at Wal-Mart and Walgreens sometimes for $59.99. The larger one with the pitcher and juicer is usually $99.00. Hope this helps.

I dont know how I would have made it without that Magic Bullet. I am using it for all of my meals so far. I am still on liquids but it does a good job of whipping up that cream Soup I had. Delicious.

Hi, I'm new here and was reading about the magic bullett. I have something that is so cheap and you most likely already have one. It's your blender! Find a pint size narrow mouth Mason jar. Take the blade portion off your blender and it should fit over the Mason jar opening. I put in my liquid, then ice and then protien powder give it a whiz and off we go. Cheap, easy clean up and if your a country girl like me you can just sip out of the jar. Since I do a lot of canning I have a lot of jars!

CAUTION!!! Before you go zipping it up on the blender, screw the blade on to the jar and manually see if the blade will turn without smacking the inside of the jar. It's never happened to me but sure as I tell someone about this they'll have Mason jar all over the kitchen!

Good luck

EXTREMELY CLEVER!!! I will try this out one day. Just wondering why a regular blender isn't functional enough & why everyone wants this "bullet"? Is it just the clean up?

The clean up and the tiny space it takes on the counter. I keep mine next to the coffee pot in the appliance cabinet, it takes up about a 4x4 inch area and there are no buttons to clean or wipe off, actually the base doesn't require cleaning unless you don't get the top screwed on good. Personally, the more basic and the smaller it is, (I try to avoid clutter), the better I like it. BUT!!! if you have a blender and prefer to use it, I love the idea of the Mason jar, what a smart idea.

Okay, I had the magic bullet for one month post surgery. Although I thought it was fantastic when I got it, I really didn't use it all that much. I have returned my bullet and am just using my blender I already have, a handheld whipper ($10), and a smoothie machine (Kohl's $14.99) instead. Just my opinion, but it just wasn't worth the $60. If it had been $20 I would have kept it.

Plus, cleaning it was a pain as I couldn't get my fat hand in the cup to clean it and the edges of the blender cup were sharp once you are doing dishes and your hands are soft. And the food sometimes sticks to the blades underneath and is hard to clean.

I thought it was great for making single serve Protein smoothies but I just couldn't justify the $60 it cost.

Sooooo, my opinion is now this: The bullet was okay during the first month of post surgery but not really worth keeping after unless you are big into making other things such as homemade salsa.

If you spend .50 for a small mouth pint mason jar you can chuck it all but the blender base. Promise it really works better than anything I've ever used. Make your shake, drink it out of the jar if you want. When your finished fill it about one third full of warm Water and put it back on the base for a quick whiz and it's clean!! If you don't finish all the drink get a ring and seal for the jar and put it in the fridge for later.

Because of the small capasity you can put ice chips in it and your drink becomes a milk shake. Try it out, all you have to loose is a fifty cent jar.

I just used my bullet to chop up some fresh parsley today, and will use it to chop up my fresh chives tomorrow. I love how quickly it chops up my fresh herbs for cooking, and am loving it for my Protein Shakes too!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
