Hi...quick question...Was it a requirment for all of the ladies to get a pap smear done before surgery? I have PCOS but have not had a pap in a couple of years (don't ask.....and I know I need to get one soon). I am just trying to figure out if I need to make this appointment of I can get away with waiting until after the surgery.

Nope. My gynecological medical history wasn't even asked about except when I mentioned unexplained infertility and then it was just the history of that - they never asked when was the last time I had had a pap.
