Hey everyone, guess what? I have ONE GOOD BAND DAY! Yesterday I ate Band-friendly. Then I binged last night, but this time I binged on a plain cucumber! Rock on! I got me one day, I got me one day! Whoo hoooo!

Lisa-

I want to thank you for starting this thread. For some reason it's really helping me enter into fitday my entire day instead of quitting at dinner because I ate out and it's hard to count...and I'm not sure I want to know. Seeing everyone make good and bad choices and then get on with life is really helping me keep this all in perspective. And, I think I may have broken my plateau but shhhh...I don't want to jinx it if it's true...

Congrats on your bandster day!!! Can you really binge on a cucumber?

Friday

Breakfast 9:30

half a cup of raisin bran crunch with milk

lunch noon

chicken thigh with teriyaki sauce

snack 1:00

half a cup of strawberries with a little sugar on them

No, you can't binge on a cucumber, which is why I'm so pleased with last night! I would be thrilled if I ate raw veggies every night instead of sugar loaded with lard.

Megan, it's easier to write my food here than FitDay (that's just too much work for me.) I'm glad you like the thread. I hope it keeps me eating cucumbers.

Shelly, now I gotta make deviled eggs. That sounds so good right now.

All I gotta do is make it till bed time, that's all I gotta do, no more food. How hard could that be?

I had my decent Breakfast, my decent lunch, and a decent dinner plus too many Bugles and cheese Wiz (the diet police should put me away for life.)

But still, I wasn't stuffed full, so there's still a chance for me.

Wow, this is a great idea!!! I was so hard on myself when I wasn't losing weight. Looking at the posts here, I wasn't really as bad as I thought. My food was healthier probably even, but, my portions were probably too large. I admit, now that I am doing Nutrisystem with the band, I don't have to count calories as much (they do it for me)

Do most of you have to eat at the same time? I do, or I get off track.

I wake up around 8:30am I have to take thyroid medicine, so, I can't eat for 2 hours. I have my Calcium bar (90 calories) around 10:30am

11:30 today, I had my Cranberry granola bar-120 calories

2:30p I had lunch chicken salad and melba toast-approx 170 calories

4:30p Lite yogurt-110 calories-no fat

6:30p I have a salad with just lettuce and parmesan cheese and low fat dressing-approx 170 calories? I don't know the calorie content of lettuce. It was a small tupperware type bowl.

8:30p I had vegetarian lasagne (210 calories)

10:30p I have soy sour cream and onion chips (110 calories)

If I counted right, 980 calories. I eat basically every two hours. I feel like I am constantly eating, but, since I started this, it jumpstarted my weightloss again. I have lost 15 pounds in less than a month. Before this, I had plateaued for about 8 months. I haven't even started back excercising yet. I had been really lazy in that dept. I know with the lapband, you are suppose to only have 3 meals, but, I found I was hungrier and would eat more when I did eat.

Very interesting:

7:30-2 cups of coffee with creamora and spenda and cap of liquid Vitamins between cups

12:30-bowl of chili, (I was busy with appts Fri am), met dh for lunch

3:00-zone bar (breakfast)

7:00-1-regular, not jumbo, margurita, nachos (too many, didn't have any idea they'd go down so easy) with salsa

9:00-order of refried Beans (to go, lol)

I sure can eat more after the sun goes down than I can eat during the day

ps-Michelle, do you get hungry, you are soooo dang disciplined.

Am I the only one that still gets hungry?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
