Well finally went to the docs and I have bronchitis. So now I'm feeling muchhhh better on antibiotics and cough Syrup with codeine. I also made another appointment for today to get my ankle and wrist looked at finally!. I hope they just don't think its in my mind. Or just send me home with an antiinflammatory..cause that won't do crap. Also stopped by the Y to make sure I wouldn't get kicked from my classes. All is well. :P

Glad to see everyone is going at it hard. I'll be back soon :grouphug:

JM: One of these days (after my surgery) I'm going to give spinning a shot. Way to go on the hill climb.

Today I did 30 minutes of elliptical and 1 hour of strength training with my trainer. I did 50 squats with 50 pounds on my back, twice as many as I've done before. UHG, thought I would die, but I did it! YEAH!

just got out of spin class!

10 minute warm up, 60 minute spin class.

Sorry if it seems like I'm tooting my own horn, but I never thought I'd be able to do it and I'm just sooo excited!:)

Are you kidding...TOOT away! That is awesome. You should be so effing proud. I am itching to try a spin class but my gym doesn't have them. I will see if I can find one elsewhere that I can pay as you go.

Let me jsut say that now my arms are killling me. Yesterday not so bad. Today, hell on earth. So obviously they must have gotten somewhat of a workout in last night while I was running.

To the pain!!!!!!

You know, I too love the pain. I love that when I get up from sitting, I grunt because my butt hurts so bad from all the squats I have been doing. I love that my shoulders ache from all the weight work. It is sick, but I love it.

I did 50 squats with 50 pounds on my back, twice as many as I've done before. UHG, thought I would die, but I did it! YEAH!

Wow Karey! I do my squats with my little 8lb weights and my butt kills. I am in awe!

I did another firm video today...Cardio Party. I actually shouted at the trainers at the end and told them I hated them. Good thing they are on tv and couldn't hear me. I kept up with the cardio but I am not terribly coordinated and some of the moves were ridiculous. I know if I do it a few times I will get it down but I wanted to kill them for their enthusiasm. It was a good sweat builder though and according to the bugg I burnt a crapload of calories in the 45 minutes. Looking forward to my run tomorrow!

I decided to put my scale away until Sunday. I am getting pissed because I have a 1000 cal deficit everyday for 9 days and I am still up a pound. I am frustrated and trying to convince myself that I am gaining muscle but I really don't know. I have to just keep at it and figure it will work itself out. It has to, right? Flippin scale!!!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
