Pre-op surgeon appt is my next step to Gastric Bypass Surgery. Please if anyone can give me some advice on what you would do or wish you would have done to prepare for the actual surgery and the few weeks after I would so greatly appreciate it.

Just like Nervy, I also was really nervous about if I was making the right decision for myself, I had actually considered surgery 4 years ago but backed out about halfway. Once my health was in danger
I feel I am starting to rethink If I should even do this surgery. I guess it is nerves. But it is also doubt if I am able to do what needs to be done. I can use any encouragement, advice, tips, recipes, snacks, how you yourself survived the pre and post op situations. We had a hiccup with me having to get a Colonoscopy/Endoscopy because of my diverticulitis. So it pushed us back about 2 1/2 months to get me to the pre op appt. And I guess in that time I stopped being focused on the big day so I feel like I am just lost. Thank you all for any advice you would like to share. God bless.
