10+ years maintaining weight loss - anyone here?

I’m 7 years post surgery snd weigh 147lbs at 6 foot 4. Highest weight was 234 lbs and lowest 114.

my weight fluctuates now with current weight being the higher side and about 10kbs down the lowest.

TRE works for me as food often makes me feel ick and I struggle with carbs/sugar. Still haven’t found a comfortable way of eating but using ZOE atm to try and find a way through.

surgery didn’t fix my trauma or my addiction to sugar; it just makes it harder to act out on it.

sometimes I feel like the little mermaid post leg acquisition - the shape I always wanted but I’ve paid a high price.

would I do it again? I’m not sure.

do I regret it? No.

Congratulations on keeping the weight off for so long.
I know what you mean about it not fixing your addiction just making it harder.

Hi

I am nearly 13 years post surgery and have completely kept the weight off and lost more than I can ever imagine. Lost 270+ lb. However now I am this far out it has taken a toil on my body which I was not informed about ended up with brittle bones have lost Calcium in teeth therefore losing quite a few of my back teeth. Having issues eating enough to maintain and not lose anymore. Physically can’t eat enough calorie wise about 800-1000 a day is all I can manage
