Tips/Tricks to get thru the 2 wk pre-op liquid diet??

I’m starting my 2 week liquid diet on 4/12 and feeling unsure I’ll be able to manage it. My RNY is 4/26 and the nutritionist is allowing me any and all non-starchy vegetables but dear lord…will bone broth and protein shakes hold down the beast within?? I’ve lost about 13 lbs since January with just very clean high protein eating. HW- 276 CW- 263 and 5’8”. Why do some programs allow lean chicken at dinner and others are so adamant about liquids/purées? Anyone have any tips/tricks to get thru this period? Very excited for this lifestyle turnaround! Thanks in advance for any advice :)

I'm on day 3 of 28. I'm finding it ok so far. I'm allowed 3 Meal Replacements and 2 cups of veg each day. I'm not a shake drinker so so far I've had a Bioslim bar, veg Soup and veg, veg soup and veg. I'm vegetarian so the veg is easy, I'll have to get creative to mix it up a bit. I'm getting the Optifast chocolate dessert to try instead of soup at night. Been eating 3 pickles at night at as a snack, getting lite Jello today too. I'm weaning myself of Coke No Sugar too.

Stay strong, we've got this!

Hello and welcome. You do sound as if you have this sorted. You have to do a week more than me, Cruelty overload. It will fly by though. I did a lot of house cleaning and it was useful because I was so busy after fitting in my water and protein into the new days. Onwards and downwards
