Considering lapband nervious but need help loseing weight and keep off

Im disabled so its difficult to exercice well if i can lose and keep weight off it would make life so much esier im just nervious dont know what to expect

    not sure where you live, but lapband is rarely done in the US anymore - it's largely been replaced by the sleeve (VSG) as the non-RNY option.

    I can speak to this from personal experience. Please reconsider getting a Lap Band. I had one and it didn't turn out well. There's way better weight loss options available than Lap Band.

not sure where you live, but lapband is rarely done in the US anymore - it's largely been replaced by the sleeve (VSG) as the non-RNY option.

Yup. My bariatric center wont do lapbands anymore.

My surgeon doesn't even offer the lap band.

Sleeve, Bypass and DS were my only options with him.

Is there a reason that you are interested in the lap band instead of sleeve, DS or bypass. As others have said many doctors don’t even do them anymore.
