Congratulations!!! Are you excited?

I am so nervous. I am starting to ask myself if I actually know what I am getting in too. I have mixed emotions I guess, happy, nervous, scared, sad.

I so identify with that! I cried on the way to the surgery center and questioned my decision. Not the best time to question big life decisions lol. I worked through some of the fear and grief of losing food in the last couple of days. I'm doing SO well now! I'm two weeks post op tomorrow. You can do this! I am here if you need anything. Hugs

Surgery scheduled for tomorrow! I broke out in a bad itchy rash (candida?) And I'm not sure why. It can happen to me when I'm eating alot of sugar, but I'm doing so well on my liquid diet, I can't imagine why. Can It be a bad reaction to my upper GI study? The barium? Or is it the protien drinks? I'm gonna call the doctor today.

Surgery day for me! Had a dream last night I couldn’t make it to the hospital. And then when I did I scarfed two slices of pizza hahah

Yep! Me too. Had it done on 4th Jan, doubted myself until the moment I went under and two days after. Now, I am 7kgs down, feel more energy than I have for years, and am so very pleased I had it done.

1/29/2021 here, and it is getting real. ?

I just had my sleeve on Thursday1/14! Came home the next day, yesterday afternoon. When I woke up from anesthesia I was like OMG what have I done?! Now that I’m home I’m feeling much better!!

Had mine Jan 4! Bypass for me.
