Hi! My surgery date is September 9th. I'm so happy to be a part of one of these threads now! I'd love to have some surgery buddies too. ?

  • September 16th for me. Less than a month away now.

  • Sept 9 for me and Sept 23 for my husband! We are super excited to take this journey as we have tried everything you can think of over the past 10 years together. We have over 300lbs combined to loose

I'm not required to do the 2 wk liquid diet. Mine is more like keto but also two weeks and also started on 9/1. Im lucky but was worried up until i found out my surgeon didn't require it.

Met with my surgeon today and no liquid diet for me either. Low carb the week before and nothing but protein shakes the day before.

Good for you! I cannot wait to get over this liquid diet. Im no longer physically hungry but I do get head hungry when I am preparing meals for my family. Its so hard not to want to taste the food.
