I'm a 35 year old male 6'0" tall and starting weight 300. I've struggled all my life trying to lose weight and was eager to get this surgery and start anew. I had my surgery yesterday and am feeling today like I didn't have a good understanding of how intense this recovery was going to be, when I met with the doctor he said how easy someone like me would make it look. I thought it was an in and out easy surgery but I stayed over night and know I'd get dehydrated if it weren't for the IV. Every sip of water I take hurts with intense gas pain. When does this get better? What should I expect from here? Going to talk to the doctor soon. Trying to stay positive and focus on why I did this.
