Mine was yesterday, March 3. I’m on my way home from the hospital now. (A two hour drive) It was pretty easy for me to be honest. A little pain when I woke up and a little nausea here and there, but n

I am 11 days post op and feeling basically normal, aside from still struggling to meet my minimum protein intake. I went back to work at the one week mark. My commute is an hour, and I drove in torren

Hey guys! I got my surgery March 9th. At home hanging out with my dog. How is everyone else doing?

Hey! How did your first week go? I'm doing better at 2 weeks out. Alot more energy now, though it only last until about 4pm then its naptime for me...lol.
Hi all, looks like my surgery may not go ahead due to the coronovirus and limited travel in Europe. I am really devastated because I have been so anxious, took 3 years to take the plunge and book the surgery and flights to have it almost cancelled.
Oh no so sorry to hear that! Hopefully you'll still be able to get it. Praying for you. Keep us updated.

Surgery done on 3/2. Went home on the 4th and doing ok with protein and fluids, was off all pain meds by day 8. I felt ok until 2 days ago and now I'm having increased pain on my right side. Back on tylenol and actually took an Oxy last night. Has anyone else had the experience of having your pain resolve in and then come back worse days later? I have a surgery F/U appt on Tuesday but wondering if I should do anything else before that?

I have lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks which is great, but I'd like to get back to walking and moving forward !

Tomorrow is the bid day for me! Drank my magnesium citrate GROSS! I checked and so far, surgery is still a go.

My surgery is on Thursday, March 19th. Anyone else having surgery that day?

March 23rd, the pre op diet is a killer!

Have you or anyone else on this board contacted them, or better yet, have you been there? If so, how are they set for type 3 parts?

Are you using this board to covertly communicate with terrorists or something?

Got cancelled last minute because of the virus stuff. Just got back into town. Kind of glad as schools have since been cancelled indefinitely and I wouldn't have been able to take care of the kids all day long while recovering.

I’m in the hospital now. Had my surgery this morning. Pro tip: super hydrate the day before. It was very had for them to get my IV in because I guess I hadn’t drunk enough and I took the magnesium citrate.

My husband's is scheduled for March 25th. I hope my own to follow in about a month. It will be performed at North Vista Hospital in Las Vegas but with the Coronavirus saying going on we're thinking it might be canceled. Anybody else out there in the same boat?

I had mine sleeve done this afternoon. 3/19/20. Follow the diet precisely. The girl that came out of surgery before I went in for mine was in the bay next to me. She was screaming with pain and vomiting violently for at least ten minutes. I was about to back out of my surgery after hearing her struggle. Then her nurse told me that that's what happens to people that don't follow the pre-op diet. I woke up from surgery with pain and a little panic, but both were quickly mitigated with medication. Thank God!

I went to conduct my PreAdmit yesterday. Five minutes after I returned home, Dr's office called to inform me my surgery was rescheduled from 3/26 to 4/16.

I got home from the hospital last night. I have to stay ahead of the pain because wow is it bad! I slept partially upright because I have a lot of air floating around. Also struggling taking all my vitamins. Chopping crushing etc is fine and all but when you can only barely sip a tiny amount of water each minute it makes it tricky

@Ling82 oh I remember the gas pain! It was terrible. I’m so happy that part is gone. It will get better day by day. I too had to sleep upright for a few days. I wish you best of luck on your journey!
