  1. Have you tried putting your food in a blender? I know it sounds gross but I made grilled balsamic chicken and tried to take tiny bites and it hurt all the way down. I put the chicken in the food processor, then chewed and swallowed and it worked like magic. And it didn’t take away any flavor. I’m supposed to start solid foods on Monday but my stomach is definitely not ready.
  2. Hey Cammy! How many oz are you eating in one sitting now? Today I ate 4oz of baked beans and I'm still in a stall. Just wondering if I'm eating too much and since we're basically sleeve twins figured I'd ask you.
  3. You look amazing! My goal is also 120-140 lbs. Can I ask how long did it take you to get there? And did you excercise heavily? I'm 21 days post op and have been stalled for two weeks.
  4. I feel bad because I had a gummy edible yesterday and my surgery was 3/2. I cant drink so I figured this was the next best thing. I kicked in pretty quickly for me.
  5. Wow you look fantastic! I hope my results are as good as yours.
  6. @Krimsonbutterflies As a single mother of two boys and the oldest being the one who has helped me tremendously during this journey - my heart is with you. Your strength is something I can only pray to have if my path was similar to yours. Keep up the good fight!
  7. Oh goodness my deepest condolences for your loss. Praying for more and more peace and comfort for you during this time. Thank you for sharing yourself with all of us here and being an encouragement and support. You are an amazing woman! [emoji120]
  8. I think we already talked/replied to each other about this but I'm not 100% certain. Either way I'm right there with you. 16 days out, 10lbs down and stalled for the last several days. I'm just going to ride the wave. I can only eat about 1.5 -2 oz at a time so it's not my intake. We have to just wait it out.
  9. I had that feeling one day in the middle of my belly...it was so weird. It came from me trying to get dressed too fast. But I remember reading others having the same experience. I used my abdominal binder or the little heart pilllow from the hospital. Hopefully that belly band will help you. But I would strongly advise you to take it easy and give your body time to heal. If you are feeling pain your body is telling you something. I promise after 2 weeks you will feel much better but still need rest. Whenever my abdominal area starts aching I stop and have a seat. Also I was still taking Tylenol 5 days post op. My first week and half was really really tough for me. I experienced alot of pain and slept alot. Please just take it easy. You'll be up and around in no time.
  10. So excited your home now! Thanks for the update. Enjoy a good nights sleep hopefully.
  11. Princess Anastasia because she is a bougie picky little thing. Born 3/2/20 - Pisces. I'm a Capricorn so we should get along famously. Welcome to the world baby girl!
  12. Yeah it's frustrating. I really looked forward to excercise classes and having more energy for activities and now we are limited. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon.
  13. Same here. I had my surgery 15 days ago a and havent seen any loss in about 4 days. Hopefully I'm losing inches but I cant find my measuring tape...lol. Guess I'll see next week when I get on the scale Monday.
  14. I am 15 days post op and decided to ride my bike a little with my dog running beside me. It lasted about 20 mins. How long after surgery were you guys released to excercise? I was exhausted afterward but it was such fun. Just curious about others experiences.
  15. So sorry to hear your surgery was cancelled. I hope all this crap clears up soon. This sucks.
  16. Definitely sending up prayers for a smooth operation and speedy recovery! Good luck!
  17. Oh my girlie! I'm so happy your ok and your surgeons were responsive. Yeah sounds like you definitely need more time off.
  18. Welcome to the Losers Bench!!! So happy to hear your doing well!
  19. @Krimsonbutterflies Yes I am cold all of the time now. Before my thermostat was set to 68-71 and I would still be hot. Now it is at 73 and I'm freezing. Keep in mind it's almost 60 degrees outside. Smh
  20. Oh no so sorry to hear that! Hopefully you'll still be able to get it. Praying for you. Keep us updated.
  21. Hey! How did your first week go? I'm doing better at 2 weeks out. Alot more energy now, though it only last until about 4pm then its naptime for me...lol.
  22. Exactly! I may just have them deliver the food.
  23. These suggestions make me want to be more adventurous in the kitchen. Guess I'll have to take my chances at the supermarket again. I went two days ago and it was a nuthouse. All the meats were gone...smh.
  24. Thanks luv! I'm going to definitely try the buffalo chicken puree. I've never been a fan of refried beans.
  25. y Guys! Im 2 weeks post op and finally in my soft foods phase (YAY!) but I can barely eat 1 oz before I feel sorta wiped out. Also everything I eat or drink gives me gas. I'm only eating what is on the list - tuna, yogurt, applesauce, premier protein drinks, water. Just looking for some suggestions and advice on how you guys navigated this phase. I really want to just EAT! Lol! I literally cant eat till satisfied and it's getting a tad bit frustrating. Any encouragement is welcome!
