Yesterday I received a bill for my nutrition visits. Each at 118.00. I called the insurance first and they told me that they had used the wrong coding for it. They had it under treating hyper tension and not for weight loss surgery. I called the hospital billing and they are going to fix it. It is kind of frustrating, as I noticed that a lot of my surgery costs are still pending insurance at 4 months out!

The surgeon I use has a nutritionist on staff, and you have to pay her up front for your consultations. She doesn't use insurance. The surgeon's bill got paid, but I still have to pay the nutritionist. Seems like it should be a package deal.

My nutritionist visits are free for lifetime support, as often as I want to see her at my surgeon's office. It's part of the package deal.

Yes some ppl can pay or get a package deal others have to pay for extras
