Well, I’m freaking out! I am 7 months post op, I’ve lost 57lbs so far, and I just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant!!! I don’t know what this means for my weight loss, what this means for the baby. I’m just freaking out!!! Isn’t this way too soon?

Deep breaths it is soon BUT you need to tell your DRS asap... and they need to get you on the right diet and vitamin plan ASAP. I have seen some people have healthy pregnancies this soon out but they had DRs who were super involved early on. Its is possible to have a healthy pregnancy but there are risks... But congrats to you and your baby just talk to an OBGYN and bariatric teams ASAP.

Ok as a male i sure am glad me and my dog got neutered - I have seen this type of post to many times - This correlation between WLS and getting pregnant is scary

I have no advise for you - except call doctors! but do have congratulations on the new little one! Guess it is a bonus to WLS. Enjoy the journey and new baby! ?

Congrats! And call your surgeon immediately. Get them to give you a referral to an OB/Gyn. Go see your bari nutritionist.
