You’ll get through it! The nauseous and gas pains were so intense for me the first 2 days I didn’t think I had the strength to handle it. Try and focus on taking deep breaths. Sounds lame, but it helped me. It will get a little bit better day by day.

You will feel down for a week or so

Thanks all for the post-op info! My surgery is next Monday 10/21.

I was in your shoes just 11 days ago. That dang nausea and gas. It got so much better when i recieved something in my Iv for it. Like someone else said, standing while drinking liquids helps a lot. Wishing you the best

I think some if the issues re fluid intake maybe because of your nausea. Let's face it, when you feel sick like that the last thing you want to do is swallow something to stir it back up.

You will get through this. You are strong and have made it this far. Keep envisioning what you will be doing in 3 months you don't do now! Everyones journey is different. You can do this! I have lost 24 lbs since 10/1 when I had my surgery. Just look what you have to look forward too!
