Do I have anyone having the surgery in July ?

My sleeve was July 2nd, 2019. ?

Getting mine done July 22. This pre-op diet is horrible. I just hope that I’ll be able to some of my favorite things later ie: red meat, spicy

I had my sleeve on July 8. It’s the July 11th and I feel great. The hardest part is getting in the fluids in with small sips. It’s hard but I’m making it work. I’m down 11 pounds since 7/8.

I needed 2 medical issues for insurance, all I had was weight. Finally, I decided to do a sleep study because my husband said I was snoring again, was diagnosed with apnea I was so excited. Then I got the clearance that I wanted. I'm so excited. I had the Lap-band for 9 years it started failing about 2 years ago and I had it removed last year. My doctor said I'd have to self pay as I didn't have any medical issues other than my weight. I was so depressed until I decided to see if I could be diagnosed with apnea and I was, then 6 months later I'm on the road to good health again.

That is awesome news!! I'm so happy for you!! I start my pre-op liquid diet next Wednesday. Dreading the headaches.

I am going to start eating clean Saturday. My husband has taken me out to get my favorite foods, BLT, Shrimp and grits, and Collards. Now I'm going to stop Saturday when my husband leaves town. I'm going to slowly go down to this pre-surgery diet. I've cut out sweet tea, just plain now, and sugars. Saturday will be carbs and sugars. Good luck with your diet!

I hope you are feeling better by now. Mine is scheduled for July 30 and I'm starting on the pre-surgical diet this weekend. I am tapering off on the weekend and going to try to follow it fully by Monday. My husband leaves town for a week and Saturday I will throw out all of my temptations. Do let us know how you are doing.

Hey, I was done on the 9th too! I won't lie it's been a huge challenge. This BariCare stuff they have me on is gross and I have to force it down three times daily. Blergh.

And protein powder....noooot a fan.

July 15th! Still in the hospital, had complications with fluid intake after procedure. 2nd day a lot better than 1st.

I hope you have a quick and smooth recovery. My date is July 30. I'm on the presurgical diet now.

Preop diet coming up on my 2nd week. 7/23 can't get here fast enough! Hope everyone's procedures goes well!
