So, I'm 5 weeks out, and due to a stricture I am only consuming water and protein shakes. Surgeon's office just called and said I could progress to full liquids, but I forgot to ask what they meant. Is that the same as purees? I'm all confused!! LOL

In my program, full liquids are things like cream soups, yoghurt (no chunks of fruit), refried beans, cream of wheat, unsweetened applesauce, etc. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Mrs. Gamgee! I thought so, but then again I thought those could be considered purees! I have to be so careful not to irritate my stricture I'm afraid to eat anything!!

Along with the things MrsGamgee mentioned, my list also included cottage cheese, jello, popsicles, pudding.
