We are also addicted to TBL.

DH or I will say "the chubbies are on tonight".

I think they are very inspirational.

We LOVE Jillian. Loved that she came back this season and KICKED BUTT!

There is a line from when the Black team was on the beach (working out hard) in the beginning ans Jillie says "Hiut her harder, ,make her cry". Almost made me spit my Diet coke! We laugh..and thro that line around alot here.

RE: Water loading. A gallon weighs 8 pounds. It is a very serious mistake to do. I am shocked that the trainers did not make a PSA about Water intoxication/Hyponatremia.

RE: Extra skin. Last year there was a guy who took his shirt off. He had a bit of a drape in his tummy skin. The womens arms all hang too, like Oprahs still do.

Arms will be the toughest for me to shape up.

Susan

PS

IF we ever win the lottery I would hire Jillian to come wake my ass up every morning to workout and "make me cry"!

what worried me was that they lose weight with exercise and a lot of them had flab skin. I am worried that I will have even more because I don't exercise as much as them:rolleyes:

Tomecia,

i think once a skin has stretched to the point most of ours has, it's pretty much a lost cause. especially if there are stretch marks involved. unfortunately... ;)

Did anyone catch Larry King last night? They had the biggest Losers on them, as well as all three of the trainers. I saw the first part of it, the twins were both on, Julie but then I fell asleep. so I missed the later part of it.

I watched it. Bill and the other 3 finalists were on. Then Jillian came on and then Bob and Alisson Sweeney(the host) came on to speak about their experiences on the show. They spoke about the next season starting Jan 1st. They also took a little stab at weight loss surgery. I think maybe one of the contestants on the next season had wls and they lost and then gained weight back, not sure though.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
