Reading all of this here is so helpful , thanks y'all . Got sleeved on the 7th of March so am about 19days post op. cant get the purried foods down yet so I am still on the full soups and lots of water and tea. Walking in the mornings for 25mins helps my mood though.

This is the toughest stage, i went through the same thing keep doing what is working for you, as your tummy heals it will allow more to enter it. Some days i thought i was dying of hunger, but i am 33days in now and doing well. My tummy tells me really quickly what i will and will not eat again and how fast i will andwill not eat. This journey will be a lifetime journey. Enjoy the ride to reach back she share with other coming behind you.

Starting weight after 3 month waiting period 270lbs my weight now is 244lbs. My medical issues are getting better everyday.

Hang in there and when your not sure of something of course check with you medical team and you can always reach out to us. Surgery date was 2/20/2019.

I am going on 3 weeks. No one explained how much my endocrine system would be impacted and as a result the hormones, mood swings. I had soaking sweats, and was chilled to the bone!! Dealing with the pain, post surgery yuck, sleep patterns all askew, i was a mess!! Im a fairly logical person and my body's physical response really has thrown me.

i also had major alterations in my taste buds and smell. Everything smelled and ta sted bad. My Dr and medical staff have helped. Using some medication help forh sleep and emotional wellness has been a stabilizing factor, not a crutch. I can appro ach my nutrtional needs sooooo much better

Why can u not have the shakes ? I’m four days post op and have been allowed the shakes the whole time

I am so thankful to everyone who took the time to answer this post I am 8 days post op today and I too feel this way but it comes in waves. I'm glad I'm not alone and I'm glad that patience is key.
