  1. Hi all, Did any one else develop a Hernia in the little stomach we have from VSG. I had my surgery 5 years ago but started experiencing terrible acid reflux about 6 months ago. I had an endoscopy done and was told I have a 5cm Hiatial Hernia which may need repairing if it gets worse.
  2. Wow, congrats. keep it up. The remaining bit will drop off
  3. wow!!!! this is inspirational for me. You go girl!!!
  4. Hang in there love, just keep your goal in front of you. am 9 weeks out and i had same issues at 4 weeks postup. Just keep trying several things till you stabilize. I wish you all the best, but just know it'll get better.
  5. Knee pain can be quite debilitating and cause misery ,I had a knee replacement in 2014 after trying so many pain management techniques, it turned out that I had early arthritis and the cartilage in my knee had worn out so it was bone rubbing on bone, fast forward 5 years and weight gain and the knee pain came back. Now with VSG done 3/7/2019, am managing the pain and doing my walks and dropping weight gradually, I trust that when am about 70 pounds lighter the discomfort will be manageable. But please check the root cause of the pain and get help so that when you do the VSG you can exercise without so much discomfort.
  6. looking good wow!!!
  7. Exactly my experience. 2 nights in hospital. Very nauseous on day 1 post-op. Also had the leak test before leaving.

  10. Hello dears, Got sleeved 7th of March. I cant still get even the soft solids down. The boiled egg whites , scrambled, poached still get stuck and i have to finally throw up. Quaker oats are not also easy to keep down. Basically my friend now is greek yoghurt , protein shake and sometimes grits with skimmed milk. Cant enjoy chicken even when properly chewed. what can I do? Please am not happy that am not getting in enough nutrients
  11. WOW!!!!! Well done girl
  12. I experienced this 7yrs ago when I had a ballon inserted, By the end of 6 months My Doctor had resigned. I had to go to another hospital entirely to get the ballon removed. It wasn't a funny situation. Just hang in there though, it will be worth it in the end.
  13. For me 3 weeks plus post up, I get prompted, I feel as if the puree is in my throat even after 3 bites then i allow that settle before trying again, by the 8th teaspoon am full usually. Your body doesn't fail in prompting you especially as your stomach is now so narrow. I guess those 6 months and over should tell us how they all feel.
  14. Wow Dude well done. Cant go wrong adding muscles
