Pain Under left Boob ?
So I think it can vary greatly depending on your history and when you had surgery.

Pain Under left Boob ?
I just had my follow up and they are having me start back on Prilosec then follow up in 3 weeks. They believe it could be acid lower in the digestive system or an ulcer.

Pain Under left Boob ?
I’m not a year but 9 months and have started having this. And it’s always after I eat. Once or twice during yoga but not strenuous exercise. As if the stretching irritates it. I do think I notice it from eating too fast but plan on checking with the dr when I have my follow up.

Confessional - Lets post our cheats/confessions/etc so others can see that we are all human
I just ate an Oreo. Then I ate the filling out of a few more to kill the crave. To be fair the rest of the house has finished a few packs now so I just wanted one but I figured if I was going to do it, may as well do it right and make myself a little nauseated from it? So much for my zero net carbs day. Guess I will try again tomorrow. Lol

How many years after surgery could you eat a plate of spaghetti without feeling nauseous?

I’ve had a few ask me but I just tell them I did keto/low carb, which is basically the truth. I didn’t tell anyone but family.

So I just had to put this somewhere because I have to say the first 80-85 came off quick. These last 15 not so much. I have been in a stall since Thanksgiving going down and up a few at a time while allowing myself to live a little and have some holiday treats. Got most everything out of the house, got my butt to the gym, started tracking carefully again and today finally weighed in at 100 down. Will be 8 months post 2/4 and I would say most of the work is on me at this point. I can absolutely overeat right now if I eat the wrong things. Just making that statement for anyone who is out there wondering what restriction may look like at this point. It’s there but I certainly have to choose right. No more “free ride” LOL

I agree. The husband didn’t care for it but he didn’t dislike it enough to make his own, so he will live.

My opinion being unsolicited bc Im VSG, I’m still commenting. Dumping aside, just stomach real estate considered, at 7 months I don’t suspect I will ever eat a plate of spaghetti again. And I’m glad. I didn’t do this so I could go back to eating that much. I can have a bite or two at this point and be very satisfied and full but not “sick.” I can’t speak to “dumping” but I do get pretty ill from sugar. I used edamame pasta last time I made spaghetti and I liked it. Everyone else tolerated it?

My mother said she no longer wants to talk or see me anymore.
Sounds like some grade A mental illness. I’m sorry you’re putting up with such hateful things from your mom but I understand trying to keep a relationship with a family member who doesn’t realize how badly they hurt you.

Food Before and After Photos
I wondered the same thing. And I agree. No syrup on my salad. Ever. Thanks. But it looked great until I knew it was syrupy kale??

Food Before and After Photos
lunch at my desk. I know that meat isn’t lean but it needs to be eaten with these giant olives. No judgement. Lol And I still mentally think I can eat way more than I can. Which is a nice change from the olden days?

Non Scale Victories
Shopping in ladies instead of “women’s” or plus sizes. And finding a lot of things that fit. Sitting with my legs crossed in the car and everywhere else because it’s completely comfortable. Wearing a normal gown at the hospital when I had gallbladder removal last week. I do enjoy these little moments of relief and satisfaction every time they pop up during day to day life.

No protein shakes 1st week post op??
So are you only on clears then? I’ve heard of this but I only did clears day 1. Every surgeon is different I guess.

Over Night Stay
Someone here recommended an extra long charging cord. I’m glad. It was great so I didn’t have to get up or move much at first. I didn’t use much. I worked from my phone the same night.
