1100 calories in a day!!!

I ate over 1100 calories today! I have been averaging around 500-600 for this past week but today I just could not get SATISFIED! I’m totally freaked out by this! I’m so worried I’m slipping back into old habits and I’m going to fail. Anyone else have this issue and how did you get a handle on it???

You certainly can't base your calorie intake on mine so I'm not suggesting that. I am a large guy that even if I had zero fat on my body I'd weigh 250 lbs probably and I am 6'6". But I eat 2200 calori

500-900 is not lifelong calories...They will increase as you progress. How far out from surgery? Were the extra calories due to bad food choices? I'm a sleeve . My calories increased to 900 to 110

What does a day of food look like for you? If you are on real food stage, have you stopped drinking shakes/meal bars? Are you eating real whole foods to hit your protein goals? Ha

All I would add is that don't freak out over a single day of increased caloric intake. It can be explained with lower water intake, increased carbs, or even protein makeup. Go back to the basics and make sure you are not drinking with your meals and that you are not using sauces on/with your protein portions. Keep proteins dry with spices only and eat more of this type of protein if hunger prevails.

I've been at a weight loss stall of 40 lbs for almost 8 months and that is adding in a burn of 6500+ calories for the past two months. Although the scale is still not moving I have felt the need to add additional proteins to keep the hunger at bay. I'll chalk the immobile scale to a gain in muscle weight instead.

Hi I’m almost 4 weeks post op... and like making of you I feel as if I’m eating too much!! I’m terrified of stretching my pouch (gastric sleevie here), and started purées and soft foods almost 2 weeks ago. Protein drinks (and I’ve tried several) don’t agree with me but I do get a muscle milk in once a day. On the average I stay under 900 calories. But I am seeing a stall in my weight loss... nutritionist says this is common and wait for your body to adjust. Guess I’m impatient! Does anyone else have this issue at such a short time out of surgery???
