I had my surgery in March I'm about 8 weeks out. I can start to see the loss. Just wish it was going a little faster. I hope the slow lose means no lose skin.

What is everyone eating these days? I’m officially 8 weeks out and honestly, I don’t eat much at all. Lol I’m not complaining because I’m losing (53 lbs since I started the pre-op diet!) ???? But I just wondered if others were able to eat more. I eat about four bites of something and I’m done. I can only do my Protein, I can’t imagine having any room for veggies. Lol is this normal? Haha Hope everyone is well!!
2 protein shakes, 2 - 4-6oz pieces of meat as a meal, and 2 sugar free popsicles at night -sleep- repeat lol

I’m 7 weeks and I can usually get down 1 egg and a few soft vegetables for breakfast, and 2 ounces of meat for lunch and dinner. I have veggies then too but i’ve reconciled myself to the fact that those two ounces of vegetables are going to take me an hour to eat. And I’m determined to eat them because I need the fiber ?. In between meals I drink the Bariwise hot chocolate or cappuccino and the Bariatric Choice drink concentrates, which i’ll happily evangelize about if you’re interested.

Chicken Creations ready to eat premium chicken salad Sunkist tuna makes them they perfect portioned for us 2.6

Slim Jim’s I like too I know not the most healthy but it has protein and breaks my habit of hitting fast food but some places have a healthy fast food such as apple slices or oatmeal ,yogurt ,Hardee’s has real eggs ....
And for dinner I bought ranch seasoning packets ,great value big pack of chicken to grill ( ranch grilled chicken )jolly green giant frozen veggies ,the veggie pasta ( it’s expensive but it cures the Mac and cheese cravings )
They even make a cauliflower pizza crust u can load with chicken and veggies

Try unsweetened applesauce for your fiber intake - I know everyone is different, but I find it digests well and I don't get that icky full feeling. I mix it with baby food sometimes along with protein powder, applesauce has been my godsend. :)

Mostly ground chicken taco meat. Definitely no veggies at the Same time ... 3 to 4 ounces at a time is all I allow myself

Sally have you tried the flavored Tuna packs too, wonder if they might make dyno-mite Tuna Salads?
I’m eating but super small portions. What I eat in a day:
AM: Protein coffee Starbucks decaf espresso with premier protein caramel, 1 oz of fiber oatmeal or grits with protein powder, 1oz of applesauce to take meds, vitamins
PM1: 2oz small meal of chicken salad or tuna salad or salmon & spinach or leftovers, Whisps (my fav!!), sometimes a protein shake on the hour commute home, 1 oz of yogurt if I’m hungry
PM2: if I’m hungry, sometimes I can’t eat dinner, 2 oz of the PM1 meals, 3oz of clear protein drink, sugar free pudding if I want something sweet

I meal prep on Sundays; measure most things, and get 32oz of water in (trying to do better); I don’t force myself to eat and eating out doesn’t always agree with me?
I haven’t tasted them ,yet, but I purchased the ranch and the lemon pepper I love how they are 2.6 ounces tht seems to be wht I hold comfortably.....they were created for us ?????
I got the Thai chili, Fluffy Chix mentioned something else with Thai seasoning and it sounded good to me. Got some diet mayo in the fridge, maybe I'll try it this weekend.

I just saw that they have multivitamin patches in the Bariatric Pal store. Has anyone tried these yet? Taking my supplements is my least favorite part of my day.
