I had my surgery in March I'm about 8 weeks out. I can start to see the loss. Just wish it was going a little faster. I hope the slow lose means no lose skin.

This podcast is amazing. It is full of all kinds of information and support. It is hosted by a nurse practitioner who is dedicated to her patients and understanding/fighting obesity.

4 weeks post op on Monday. Is anyone else still having a hard time with incision pain. I am still very sore. My surgeon didn’t seem to think it was any reason to be concerned but I still have a hard time getting in and out of the car.

I wore an abdominal wrap for weeks. Helps soooo muchScreenshot_20190326-130607_Amazon%20Shopping.jpeg
I wish I had thought about those wraps! I only had one incision that really hurt longer than a couple of weeks though, and mainly when I bent down. But everyone does heal differently AND it can also have to do with how large your incisions are and how much your surgeon had to do “in there”. I was surprised at how small some of mine were! I hope you get some relief soon, it’s certainly a process. But there is light (and you will be lighter!!) at the end of the tunnel! ?
A month after surgery and doing good! Saw my dietician today and am moving on to soft foods. HW-451, SW-317, CW-290, GW-185

Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing well! I just popped in to ask what kind of vitamins everyone is taking? My dr suggested Barilife but the powder is nauseatingly sweet post surgery lol. I tried the pills but they are huge and I’m supposed to take 3, twice a day. Ugh. Looking for other options.

Well I'm only taking a chewable calcium and a chewable multivitamin from celebrate. Not the best but it doesn't make me sick.

I will look into that one! Thanks!

I get bariatric choice with iron off amazon. They cover all the bases except calcium citrate. THey are about $15 a month. Calcium citrate I am still looking for a good one. I tried barimelts and ewww.. I was taking a pill but was told that I want a chewable or melt. Still trying to find something I like.

Celebrate has a new capsule multivitamin that is a one a day dose. I really like it as the Celebrate chewables were starting to get old.

How big are the capsules? I may want to try this! My barilife pills were HUGE and taking 3 twice a day was impossible. For me, at least. Lol
