othella2 posted a topic in The Gals' Room
Since surgery 11 months ago I keep getting BV. So sick of it. Anyone else deal with this. Would love to hear ideas of how to deal with this.

  5. Weight loss going great. Down to 202 from 252!! A tight size 20 to a 14!!
  6. My moment was on Saturday at work. I am medical assistant and on this day a patient came to the office short of breath and couldn't get out the car. I ran down stairs due to the fact the clinic is on the second floor. I then had to run back up stairs to get the provider. To make a long story short I ended up running up and down the stairs about 5 times before help came. I could not catch my breath, my chest was tight. More than that I was so embarrassed that I allowed myself to get to this point. That is when I said enough is enough.
  7. So sorry it's so hard for you right now. Just know that it gets easier. I'm 4 months out and just now starting to get a handle on things. For the itching I used some Neosporin. Worked wonders. And if you keep your incisions covered it will help to not have scares. I cried alot and thought I did the wrong thing for a while. Once you start to see the outcome of being healthy and feeling healthy you will see it was worth it.

  16. AGREED!!![emoji122] [emoji122]
  17. This was a good idea. With less weight to lose and doing so at a slower pace sometimes worries me. Of course going to the gym tonight. Just wish I had someone with me that can actually understand how hard this is sometimes.
  18. The last week in a half now I have been so drained. I thought it maybe because I came on my monthly , but this is something different. I usually go straight to the gym after work, but lately I have only been 3 days. I'm just so exhausted, I can bearly make it through my 8 hours at work. I'm going to the gym tomorrow but now I'm worried about gaining. Shouldn't be because I can not anyways. 3 bites and I'm full. Still having a hard time drinking 64 oz of fluids. It will be 3 months out on 6/20 and I hope I have not gained. Just don't know how to get more energy, this just hit me at once last week. Hope it's almost over.
  19. I simply stopped communicating with them. Why keep that energy in your life.

  22. So I found a squat challenge. 100 squats a day for 30 days. Today is my first day doing it. Worth a try for something different. Looks fun.
  23. Would hernia repair be an option rather than another wls
