Anyone have no issues with plain water?

I'm getting very scared reading through posts about plain water. I do NOT like additives like Mio and Crystal Light and I cannot imagine never being able to just drink water plain. It seems that a lot of people struggle, not just in the beginning but long term! I am freaking out at the thought of always having to add something special to my water. Is it really that bad?

It's not that people can " never" drink plain water again. It's a taste preference. In the scheme of things this is not a big struggle.

  • I hate water additives. Always have probably always will. I drink 4-5 bottles of plain water a day + green tea + decaff coffee to the tune of 120+ ounces on ave. a day.

Preop I was huge plain water drinker. About three weeks post op my tastes changed and now crystal light is the only way I can drink water. From my research these changes are mostly temporary. Go with the flow, do what you need to do so you can reach your goals and don’t over think it. The first couple months after surgery are NOT reflective of how you will live the rest of your life.

No issues with plain water pre-op or post-op (21 months). I hate artificial sweeteners as they’re not healthy and may impede weight loss so I don’t consume them, especially in my water.

I've not had any issues with water. I've always loved water and still do. I can have lots with no problem. Tastes the same to me.

Lucky Ducky, you do have your ???in a row nicely and a positive frame of Mind!
