Hey everyone. I had my gastric bypass on oct 08. Now i am in so much thirsty and i drink too much water all the time. Sometimes i feel pain in my stomach. It's okay to drink that much water? What should i do?

How much water are you actually drinking? What does your surgeon have to say about the amount of water you are drinking?

If you are drinking so much that your stomach hurts then you probably need to cut back. Are you drinking too quickly? Have you tried sipping slowly?

Drinking "a lot" isn't the problem, drinking too fast is.
Slow down a bit, if you are drinking too quickly and causing pain... that needs to stop ASAP. Pain = Bad.

Slow down and let the fluids drain. You should be getting upwards of 128oz of water, but it shouldn't hurt to do so.

Suck on ice chips then sip water between.
