I emailed my PA to find out if I can eat Ritz. I love Ritz.

My paperwork says no crackers and that’s even after a month. I only like matzo crackers and buy them during Passover even though I’m not Jewish but nope no crackers here probably not until 2+ months out.

Anyone else dealing with a major stall? I had surgery on the 12th and I haven’t lost a single pound in 8 days! It’s so frustrating!!

Not allowed any crackers here. Only liquid diet. I am 3 days post op and I stepped on scale and noticed I have not lost any more weight since my pre-op - in fact I gained like ,4 lbs. Hard to believe with the very limited caloric intake. Is this normal after surgery? When did most of you see your weight start dropping ?

I had surgery the 20 th, doc said also dont step on scale for the first week because they filled me with IV fluids and still really bloated . But I walked as much as I could religiously and by the time I got on the scale (6 days after surgery ) I was down 4 lbs . I am post op day 9 and down 12lbs . Pretty steady 2 lbs loss a day but I am being letter perfect . 3 Protein drinks a day , and a little plain yogurt /cottage cheese mixture . Just added in a protein Soup and sugar free popsicle . Walking 10k steps , or around 4.5 miles . Getting 64 oz of Water . Will do this till next Thursday purée stage, but will keep calories under 800 and protein 60-100g. Seems to work

So my surgery anniversary date is on the 24th of this month, but I had my 1-year follow up early with my surgeon this morning (I have another 1-year followup at the hospital on Monday to get my bloodwork and labs done).
Anyhoo...my surgeon was very pleased with my results (and so where the office staff apparently, because 3 of the front desk ladies came by my exam room to give me props/high fives/generally gawk at me).
But get this: he asked if I would be willing to come in for a future photoshoot so that I could be on a poster! And I was all, ummmm....no thanks, LOL.

Today was a really tough day and I turned to food (and a watered down glass of wine). The interesting part was that I felt REALLY full after eating half my go to cheat snack, tortilla chips with cheese. So the GBP is doing its job!

The only way I can tell that I'm losing weight is from the scale and my clothes "getting bigger".
