Since you love the Kay's have you tried these?

Not quite as good macros as Kay's, but totally taste normal, not like a Protein product. The Honey Mustard Flavor tastes like the Gardetto's pretzel flavoring to me.

That's a lot of cheese!!! I'm not really into cheese unless it's on something, but not just to sit and eat it. I said that I was going to try some different kinds. If you don't mind sharing, give me your top 3 favorites.

It is a lot of cheese . Some of it is due to hungry shopping

Laughing Cow Light Swiss Wedges paired with 34 Degrees Rosemary Crackers

Smoked Gouda (I buy the Trader Joe's version, it's good and cheap)

English Cheddar with Caramelized Onions from Trader Joe's (This is my true cheese love, but don't buy it unless I'm having guests over, it molds super quick)

Look at all that paraphernalia!!! lol, it's ok because I know one day someone will walk in on me while I profess my love to a family size tub of cashews in bed

These are great suggestions! I am a little over 9 weeks out and the only the thing I pretty much eat are cheddar cheese sticks and greek yogurt! I'm definitely not getting enough Protein in but I just don't seem to like anything. I was told not to eat crackers or anything with flour. I asked because I feel like it'd be easier to eat tuna to get some additional protein if they were on crackers but was told no :( Are the Kay's crackers made with flour?

This looks like my place... lol

I have our cold cuts drawer in fridge dedicated entirely to cheese, and every grocery trip involves getting more cheese. [emoji41]

I am 7 weeks post op and my appetite is back. Not as ravenous as I once was, so that is good, but I am hungry more often than every 3-4 hours and really, all I want to eat is cheese. I'm also craving Peanut Butter. Both are okay in small amounts but neither should be used for Protein. Hit me up with your ideas for meals at this stage that satisfied those savory/fatty/creamy cravings.

I am also 7 weeks post op and all I am able to tolerate is Sharp Cheddar cheese. Is your stomach able to tolerate anything else? I am having a hard time eating without getting sick. I have tried so many different things and the only thing my stomach tolerates is the cheese. I need help lol.

I’d be lost with out cheese/dairy as part of my Protein allotment. Granted I still have to be careful of the amount because I was lactose intolerant before and that didn’t change. I do have to watch that I’m not succumbing to head hungry because even at 4+ months out it’s still there. Less than the first few weeks but still a question I ask myself.

Seriously I had a convo with my Nut how anything highly processed wrecks havoc in my digestion system so I still eat regular cheese just way less of it, avoid sugar and it’s alternatives, etc. Part of this journey is giving you the space to figure out what works for your body. And yes that means sometimes telling your mind to stuff it and stop playing games.

You’re doing great!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
