I am also 7 weeks post op and all I am able to tolerate is Sharp Cheddar cheese. Is your stomach able to tolerate anything else? I am having a hard time eating without getting sick. I have tried so many different things and the only thing my stomach tolerates is the cheese. I need help lol.

As long as you tolerated it, you should be fine. Thank you for the reports. There are so many opinions that seeing the black and white print really helps.

Good Morning Everyone, it has been three weeks and three days since my Gastric Sleeve Surgery. For some reason I am not able to eat much of anything. Only liquids and I have to try to get my protein in via shakes. I decided I would do herbalife shakes. They are the only ones I like. My surgeon and nutritionist said at this point I have to get something down so that is ok. The good news now lol I have lost 30LBS. I have attached a before and after pic.

You are so lucky. My problem is with my appetite this past week or so. I am not hungry. I drink water when I can. I notice that when I put ice in my water I drink it more easily. I have a b12 vitamin patch now and I take centrum. Tomorrow is my first post op appointment. Let's see what the doctor tells me. I love herbalife shakes and I am going to use them as my protein shakes. I tried other brands and don't like the taste. Yes the chicken broth is great. I will definitely try the Chobani low fat yogurts. Thank you so much.

How did you do that??? Please help. Honestly I can't get anything down except the bariatric soups, maybe some sugar free jello. I need to drink more water and get more proteins in. Lord its so difficult.

To each is own, if you would never do it then good for you. Some people are newbies and were just curious. Cmon folks lets leave the negativity elsewhere. On a brighter side, I am down form 212 my highest to 191 today. I am very excited about that. Yesterday's pic is attached.

I just read this post and feel so good. I am 17 days post op and have the same question. I am missing some of my favorite foods and love the fact that the portion sizes will be very small.

I was really happy that I had the Gax X chewables. My surgeon said they wouldn't help but they worked wonders for me after surgery and still today 17 days post op. BTW Good Luck with your surgery.
