Nope! You just stirred the Soup and moved the chicken around!

I actually ate until I was worried that I might be sick on the hour and a half ride home. :( But I stopped before I got too full . . . but just one more bite . . . It's just soooo tempting!

You win! 1/2 a tortilla and 1 piece of meat?

Last night I tried to do a before and after but forgot the after. Here's the before. I was able to eat it all but it was a very small portion of the ricotta bake.

Lol ... well, like 80% of a tortilla!

I'm such a cheap date these days. I mean, that taco cost $2.50 (which is a lot for a street style taco!) and I'll be eating it for days!

Coworkers keep joking that I'll be such a cheap date now.

Tonight's dinner was a slice of ham filled with cheese with some salsa. I'm using small plates. Just realized it looks like a huge portion but wasn't.

Made the hubby a grilled ham and cheese. First time I've cooked for him since before the pre-op diet. I'm very thankful how supportive he has been. He hasn't been eating in front of me. It's nice to eat together again.

Extra paprika ! It is so good!

The sauce the Beans marinated in is at the bottom and I used it like dressing : lime juice, Water, tumeric, cayenne pepper, ancho chili powder, onion and garlic powder, tumeric, black pepper, basil, parsley and a dash of hazelnut oil

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
