Laura's RNY Journey; Age 31 Starting Weight 365

selfie.thumb.jpg.d18c1bbae08b8bc709e69721b04e8353.jpg

HOW LONG IT TOOK AND WHERE I STARTED-

I started in November 2017, my appointments went quickly. I was held back by not doing well enough in nutrition classes. My surgery is scheduled for July 25, 2018. That's 8 months of waiting.

. I’m not going to buy anymore wine -that’s been my downfall. I have like one bottle left.

My cousin is in the process of getting WLS a sleeve. He was supposed to stop all alcohol but he keeps on drinking 2 glasses a night. I told him that he wouldn't succeed if he continued to drink and if he did he would be drinking his calories. I commend you for realizing that the wine was holding you back from greater success and putting in a plan to stop it. My question, how much were you drinking on a daily basis and how much do you think it affected you getting to your weight loss goal? Thanks again for your journal and I wish you continued success.

So, I’m in the next size lower jeans. I tried on some work tops and they look fabulous so I think I’m going to invest in a pair or two of slacks that fit. So far I’ve been lucky not to have to buy anything because I still have my clothes.
