I had that in combination with a horizonal thigh lift last September. It was about $15k here in Chicago. I know I could have done it cheaper elsewhere, but I liked the surgeon and am happy with the results. Be prepared though - it's not fun!!!

I had it done. Absolutely worth it. Aside fromtje original bariatric surgery, it’s the best decision I ever made.

Like the other commenter, mine was done in combination with other procedures so I can’t give specific guidance on price for the body lift. However, I had that done, along with a thigh lift, arm lift, and vertical shaping with the tummy tuck portion of the body lift. Two surgeries, $20k all in, done by a fantastic local surgeon who has a lot of weight loss clients.

Thank you for your feedback.. how about scars? I know they fade away eventually.. how was in your case?

It's been almost a year and my scars are fading really well on the sides and back, unfortunately... my tuck was really tight in the front and actually split open from the pressure on the incision (took about 3 months to heal). That scar is much wider and darker. The surgeon said he would revise it if I have another procedure, but I'm not sure about getting anything else done yet. I kind of like myself the way I am now :-).

May I ask who your plastic surgeon is, from another Chicago-area WLS patient? :)

Best thing I have ever done. My cost was $15,000 as well. I love my results, and how my body looks. The scars are fading slowly, but I could careless about the scars ( which are very thin) can hide with bikini- he did a wonderful job. But it is a challenging recovery for some. It was for me but worth it and would do it again.

I'm actually planning on having this done this July and just had my first consult. I'm excited. He's only planning on doing the 360 lower body lift and my cost will be $12,000. Those who paid $15,000, did you have another procedure done with it?

Does the 15K cover all of the anesthesia/hospital fees, too, or just the surgeon's fee? I had liposuction in 2009 and it cost me 11K and I can't remember if that covered everything or if I paid other bills later from the hospital.

I anticipate having an arm lift and a lower body lift in 2 years and I am saving money now, about 700$ a month until then.
