I just got off the phone with Kaiser in Northern California. They have the Sleeve Surgery priced at $47,600.00! Of that I would pay 20% co-insurance, which works out to $9,520.00 I will actually only pay what is left of my Out of Pocket maximum for the year ($5,945.00). Does that sound close to what others are / have paid? I'm going to pay for it but I guess I expected my portion to be closer to $3,500.00.

I had mine done in Tijuana. $4000

Lucky you who go throught insurances! I never even got a call from public health care (I live in Canada) after years on the wait list, so I'm doing this privately at the cost of 14 000$. Ouch!

My husband had his surgery 2 weeks ago in Colorado. We had to pay out-of-pocket. Doctor and hospital was $12K. His pre-op cat scan OOP was $1,100 (insurance did pick up the rest).

The bill for my sleeve arrived this morning. Thankfully out of pocket was only $150, but the total bill was just shy of $47,000.

My total bill was $63,000. I only had to pay $1,500 out of pocket.

My total bill was about 49,000 I had to pay 1200 out of pocket
