I'm two weeks post op from the sleeve and a hiatal hernia repair. Sometimes when I swallow, I hear and feel a gurgling in my esophagus. It lasts two or three seconds and then stops. Anyone having this?

Quite often. It’s totally normal. I’m 3.5 months out and still have it but hopeful it goes away soon!

I had that a lot in the very beginning. I still have it frequently at 3 months out, but it's not with every other bite like it used to be!

I had a hernia repaired as well and yes I totally have this.

I had my surgery on the 7th (no hernia) and get the gurgle every time I drink something, but it seems to be lessening. It sounds like it is pretty normal. My kids have found it entertaining! LOL
