Lost just a tad over 40lbs since I last weighed which was about a week ago. Can't weight myself for 1 more week as I'm traveling.

Everybody Keep On Keeping On!!!!!:):)

Sleeved 12/28, down 43.5 lbs total.

Things slowed down around weeks 5-6 (I wasn't exercising, and I also went on vacation) but I've started exercising more and the scale is dropping again now. Yay. :)

Sleeved 12/20, I'm 40 lbs down from surgery and 71 lbs down from starting my program. Feeling great so far.

I was sleeved in December of 2016. You guys are going to look amazing soon! Good luck. Remember water and protein [emoji7]

How does everyone get in their protein and water daily?

I am usually fine on protein (2 shakes a day) but I struggle with the water

I stopped drinking protein drinks but I think maybe I will go back to them to get my protein in. I seem to get close to enough of either in.

Cottage cheese
Advocado
Beef jerky
Grilled chicken
Ground beef w veggies
Sandwich meat
Shredded beef

Since before surgery I would drink a gallon plus of water a day so that part has been easy...only thing is since surgery water has to be ICE cold to go down ok.

Best way I get mine in is a protein shake and a shot or two of espresso over ice. My nutritionist said as long as I limit it to a few times a week and don’t add any flavoring/sweeteners then I should be fine

I definitely focus on "protein first" at meals and try to make my snacks high in protein as well (a slice of turkey rolled with a slice of provolone is one of my favorites, and Cabot makes a 50 calorie sharp cheddar snacking cheese that I LOVE). My typical day is below. (I'd love to see other people post what they eat in a day??)

I've also stopped drinking Premier Protein shakes almost entirely. I had been using them for breakfast, but now I'm making my own smoothies again, with protein powder. One problem I had was I would nurse a protein shake all morning, which my nutritionist said was not good because it kept me from drinking water, and from eating real food. My own smoothies help me get more real food (fruits, veggies) too, which I like much better (and I make sure to finish my 8 oz smoothie in about 20 minutes so I can move on to water).

Water is hard but I find I do better if I spend the money to just buy bottled Vitamin Water Zero. The cost adds up but they taste so much better than plain water or even putting Stur or Crystal Lite in water that I'm more likely to drink them, which makes it worth the cost. (My grocery store, Wegmans, has some of their own brand that are great, and a little cheaper than Vitamin Water.)

These are the cheddar cheese snacks by Cabot that I love, if anyone is interested. 50 calories, 6 grams of protein, and they actually taste like sharp cheddar cheese (instead of those horrible string cheese which I find dry and waxy).
