Sounds like a plan! My birthday is April 5th and my 4 month sleeve anniversary will be the 7th so I would like to set my goal to lose 23 lbs to make me 215 by then. Lets do this!!

Good Morning!!! I as sleeved 12/7/17 from surgery I am down 34 lbs. Does any one have any tips that will help me lose more? I have been at the same weight for the past almost 2 weeks. If anyone has any ideas I would be greatly appreciative!!!

I stopped drinking protein drinks but I think maybe I will go back to them to get my protein in. I seem to get close to enough of either in.

How does everyone get in their protein and water daily?

Sleeved 12/7/17 Lost 20 pre op diet and 30 since surgery!

I have UHC as well and I did have the 6 month supervised diet but I meet with my surgeon each month and used that as the supervised diet. Meet with the nutritionist once and the psyh once. It goes by pretty quick. I was scheduled for surgery on the 4 visit so I knew my date. That is when it felt like it took forever. It gave me plenty of time to do all my research which made my visits a in and out thing cause I knew what was coming and what I needed to change. Used the 6 months to stop smoking and get it in my head I would not be able to eat a lot of the foods I loved then. So food funerals were an everyday thing the last month.

I was sleeved 12/7 and lost 9 lbs that first week, then was not losing anything. I was getting so frustrated!!! Felt like I did this and nothing was happening except not being able to eat. Talked to a few people I know locally that had this done and found out that I am not eating enough. They said make sure you eat every three hours and drink plenty of fluids. And then bam...I started losing I have went from 258 to 253 from Monday.

My month was the 7th and I have only lost 14 lbs since surgery. I was stalled for almost the whole month finally started losing. Ugh!

Hi I was sleeved 12/7 as well working on trying to eat soft foods but only down 9 lbs since surgery. Struggling to get my liquid intake and remembering to eat every three hours. I bought myself an elliptical to start working out at home. I am looking for some good soft foods as well. Can't seem to find things that I can grab and go. I need to learn how to prep my foods.

So I had surgery the 7th and I lost 9 lbs that first week! Why have I not lost any more weight since then? I am wondering if this sleeve even works. I am kinda feeling disappointed! Any one else have this problems or any ideas on what I can do?

Well my surgery is at 8:30 at least you get to sleep in if you do sleep at all being excited and nervous. Yeah I don't think I could wait till afternoon. I am glad it is in the am. I have been on the liquid diet for the past two weeks, protein shake in the morning and evening, and sf jello or pudding in between and nothing else but water or the Powerade zero. I can't have anything 4 hrs before surgery and clear liquids before that for 12 hrs.

I have only taken off for a little under a week. I have surgery Thurs and hope to be back to work next Wed. I work at a desk job for my ft job but for my pt job I have taken off 2 to 3 weeks.

Hey all!!! Dec 7th here! Getting through this pre op diet has been easy till yesterday. For some reason I was so hungry. I will not cave! Only 3 more days to go until all this will be worth it!

They are premade. I rather have them just because I work so much. I get them from Walmart. I am on day 7 of the liquid diet surgery date is dec 7th.

I have been using the Primer Protein shakes. Getting by with them.

That does make us sleeve buddies!!! Yay congrats to you on your approval as well!!! Do you have to do your 2 week liquid diet?

Hey @Jeannie49 I have 12/7 as well!!! I do have the liquid diet for two weeks. But everything is going great! Hope your insurance gives you approval asap!! Good luck!

I started my liquid diet on Friday. I have been drinking water, powerade zero, and i had one apple juice the kids pouches with no sugar added. I am able to have sugar free jello, sugar free pudding, and sugar free Popsicles. I also have a premier protein drink for breakfast and one for dinner. It hasn't been too bad.

My plan that the nut gave me is 2 shakes a day i can have one single serving of greek vanilla yogurt, cream of wheat, cream of rice, strained tomato or split pea soup, sugar free pudding/jello, grits, skim milk, apple juice, soy milk, water and alos sugar free powerade zero cals. Its says 2 puddings allowed for like lunch. And its for two weeks! ugh! hope they fly by!

Just started my pre-op today was suppose to start yesterday but I didn't. My date is Dec 7th! So excited and getting a lil nervous!

I start mine the day after Thanksgiving. I am suppose to start the day of but I am using it as a food funeral. Not going to over indulge. I have been slowing working out sodas and breakfast and coffee. Drinking more water. I went to the store today and got i believe everything I will need. Just a question...do y'all eat the sugar free pudding on this pre-op?

I was given paperwork from the surgeons office to file out and submit to the hospital. Am I also suppose to have an appointment at the hospitals admin to go over pre admin things? Does everyone do this?

I got my approval letter today from UHC and start my pre op diet on Friday for Dec 7th surgery!!! I am so excited!! I can't wait! Getting so nervous everything is getting so close and final!
