My package was submitted to my insurance last week. A hospital authorization popped up on my insurance record dated 1/18. Not sure what that means, but I'm just patiently waiting for my insurance decision, whether an approval or denial. I'm the most impatient person so the wait is killing me.

I figure, if approved, I'll probably be scheduled for mid to late March. I really can't believe how quickly the last 6 months have gone, but these last few weeks are dragging by. My final appointment was last Monday but seems like last year.

This site is a great source of information. I can't tell you how much of a help it has been through this journey. [emoji3]

My package was submitted two weeks ago. I really thought I'd have an answer either way by now.

I was approved!! The doctor's office hasn't received the authorization yet, and my doctor only schedules on Thursday or Friday so I won't get scheduled until late next week.

So I had some mail at the house run my insurance company that I didn't even think to open. Turns out it's my approval, which was mailed out a week so. So, yeah, I was approved in one week and didn't even know it. But how odd that my doctor's office hasn't received it yet? So I sent them a copy. Hopefully they'll be able to get me scheduled today.

Ktgirl246, glowing up and camomilelavender I just heard from my surgeon's office. Surgery date February 15th, was my late MIL birthday, hope she's looking down from Heaven and cheering me on.
