Any February Sleevers?

I just got my surgery date. February 12th. It hadn’t felt real till now that it’s actually happening. I know it might sound weird but now the nerves are kicking in.

so excited for my surgery on 2/28. three days in on the pre-op diet, and im finding that every day im less hungry than the day before. my pre-op, for those interested, is 1000 calories low carb (1 lean cuisine, 4 shakes, and veggies). my body actually is feeling better, except my energy levels. I really hope I get used to eating so few calories - because DANG am I tired!

those who just got sleeved, congratulations! how do you all feel? how is your pain and hunger?

Congrats! I did pretty good on the second day I went home. But when I got home have had my on and off days sometimes, a suggestion to you after surgery when u get home and. Are trying to drink and get your Protein in get the clear juice-like Protein Drinks. They will count as liquids and your Proteins. Oh and one more thing is I was feeling hungry when I see food or smell food but couldn’t get it down if I wanted too, that will pass too!

Had my surgery on 2/14. Along with the sleeve, Wednesday's surgery included fixing my hiatal hernia and moving my old lapband port. I spent two days/nights in the hospital and came home yesterday. I'm glad to be home, where I can get some rest. I'm very bloated-I've only been able to burp, not pass gas. I'm hurting but taking pain meds. I'm on the clear liquid phase right now, but my doctor says I can begin full liquids tomorrow. I'm just trying to make sure I can get in all the water I need. The nutritionists who work with my surgeon gave out tiny 1oz cups to regulate the volume of water swallowed. My doctor wants me to drink 60 oz of water per day. It's 6:30, and I've only managed to get 30 in so far. I do worry about getting enough protein and water everyday.
I have having some regrets, but I know they will pass once I heal properly and am used to injesting tiny amounts of everything.

My doctor reccomended GAS X and I got they chewy tablets and those have helped so much!

WOW, I am only allowed protein shakes, water,I solute, and broth until I see my doctor on the 26 th. Was your surgery 12 February?

Same here I’m only allowed sugar free pudding, jello, water, and premier protein shakes

Sorry 32oz should come from plain water, not protein.

Thanks very much! I wasn’t told about gas-x, so I really appreciated it!

So my surgery was scheduled for 2/16. Went in to get the Gastric sleeve surgery & they didn’t do it because I had a huge Hiatal hernia. They repaired that and didn’t do the surgery. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Hmmm I see quite a few saying their doctor did hernia repair and the sleeve both, wonder why yours didn't? Is there more to the story? Are they going to ,reschedule the remainder of your surgery and if so, will it be soon? Must be a disappointment to you. Write us back, we' d like to be updated when you have more time.

That is the story that I was given. I will find out the reason when I give them a call next week. I was saying the same thing myself about I heard of them repairing the hernia & doing the sleeve. I am thinking it is because I have to pay 15% of the allowed amount which is $1580 and I didn’t pay anything toward it yet. But I will find out exactly why it wasn’t done together and keep you guys posted

:) yep hoping to meet people with around same surgery date to journey with. I was sleeved on the 12th this is day four for me .
