Late December Sleevers?

Anyone scheduled for sleeve in late Dec? Mine is on Dec 26, and I’d love to be in touch with others going through it with me.

Yes, and this was after halving the medication I take for my systolic right after surgery. Going to see my primary doctor on Wednesday. My home BP monitor said it was 127/72, but those things aren't particularly reliable.

I'm totally opposite. I have not went since day before surgery and my lower back feels like it is going to break!

I had mine 12/22...and I’ve been feeling hunger pains since about day 5.

I’m on day 7 and felt hunger pains today for the first time. My doctor said to drink a protein shake and that’ll curb it till I’m on my next phase.

I just have always heard you don’t really feel hunger in the first year ....

Im on day 7, too, and I’ve definitely felt hungry and had my stomach growling. I started puréed food today. It’s not going down well - feels like a punch in the stomach! ?

My surgery was on 12/29, I am 6 days in and feeling good but also feeling a little hungry.

I definitely want to eat. Real bad. Tonight we went out for my dads birthday and it was torture. But I don’t really feel physical hunger.

Hi Lotte22, I had my surgery on 12/14. How are you doing so far?

I’m doing well. Still some soreness and discomfort. I over exert myself (by necessity) and I haven’t been perfect on the post op diet. But I’m getting through it. I discovered miso soup yesterday. It’s a clear liquid with tons of salt so it helps water retention and is soooo delicious! How are you?

I have about a 3 to 4 for pain. My incisions look good. I am doing ok for hydration but getting the protein in is still a work in progress. Thanks for the reminder of the Miso soup I love that & will grab some soon. Now for confession time...I had a frozen wonton bowl last night and every intemotion of just having the broth but the wontons we boiled down so soft that they fell apart. So I figured what would be the harm really. Well when I tell you the few slivers of it i had came back with a vengeance! People I now know that Dumping syndrome is real and better you not do it to yourself. A hard head makes a soft behind as my Gram used to say so going forward I will be listening loud and clear. :-)
