Hair loss and ethnicity

I was sleeved 7/28/17. I understand hair loss is to be expected at some point for some. I haven't lost hair this far.for those who have lost those hair post op, at what point did you start losing? Also, is hair loss more prevalent or worse in certain ethnicities than others?

I'm Caucasian and mine was about the same... maybe started month four or five, but not in the first three months.

I'm Caucasian, mine started around the 4th month and my hair is already thin to begin with. Just hoping it will stop

Is it sad that this topic is one of my biggest fears of the surgery lol. I have dreads and I love them so much and I'm afraid that they will fall out and I will have to shave my hair off and regrow them. 5 years down the drain. Vanity comes before a fall I guess.

I might just cut mine now and get used to short hair. My hair started falling off a few years after I went through major stress. I didn't take it very well when I started seeing clumps of hair on my comb. If I precut it, at least it's on my own terms and hopefully I can cope with it better.
