Christian bandsters

If there are any Christians out there who are looking for special support during this time I thought we could start a thread related to this. It might help with those thoughts and doubts as to if this is the right thing we are doing or any other 'shares' that might come to mind. I could use some at this time in my walk.

Sister in Christ,

Valerie

I got one of those 'casino cards' just to get the discounts on the buffets.

That was a weird feeling...they gave me a deck of cards and all this information on how to swipe the card at gaming tables and slots.

I've been to Vegas proably 9 times in my life and have not gambled once...not even a slot machine.

The food is great! The art, magnificent! Fun! Fun!

Went to the Venitian for the first time and WOW! A tear came to my eye, it was so beautiful! That will be the closest I ever get to Italy.

:)Praise the Lord for ALL His infinite wisdom and mercy!!!!!!!!

Well, my DH had his ultrasound today, and we should have the results tomorrow, Lord willing. I think it's going to be OK either way, he just can't stand to wait for the results. he even had pain when they did the US today, so I don't know.

Oh, by the way, I can't have my surgery because I don't have $5,000 up front. Mom said we should call the company to complain. they cover everything else 80%, why not this? We don't understand it, and we work at a hospital! you would think that they would want their employees to get healthy through this, but whatever. I am hanging in there, praying for the best! I know I want the weather to straighten up, so I can get moving and exercise!

Well, may we all have a blessed day with Jesus!!!!!!!:sneaky::drool:

I would contact the insurance company, perhaps you can file an appeal and request that you not have to pay the $5000 up front. I would give it a try at least ...

Melissa - I will be praying for you :mad2: May God's will be done!

All you need to do is come on here, read, and post. No rules - well I'm sure there are about language and attacking others etc - but that's not an issue on this thread!

Hugs and Prayers for all of God's children!!

Hi all! just found this thread and simply looking for all the support I can get...surgery scheduled for April 7 and am nervous, excited...all rolled into one...scared...am I doing the right thing? dh says the post op diet and process 'looks hard'....yikes! somebody calm me down!!! Thanks in advance!!!

Hey 2bemeagain, have been missing you, hope you are feeling much better.

unshackled - feelings are normal, you've had a big change in the way you are eating. your diahreah shouldn't last too long, your body is just going through changes here. very normal, at least it was for me anyway.

liz - welcome, and your date will be here before you know it! The post op diet isn't as bad as it seems. I was really worried myself, but it wasn't exactly a breeze, but went by pretty fast. before you know it you'll be getting your fills and feeling good restriction!

Welcome All, there was another new lady on the previous page, cannot remember her name, but welcome to you too! We are glad to have you all!
