Ok.....got 0 carb isopure with 40g protein

I had too many carbs the 1st 4 days of the post op full liquid diet. So do i need to extend this phase 4 days with 0 carbs, or judt stay on the right track for 3 more days and start the soft food stage on time????thanks for any advice

I think you should call your NUT and see what they think. Everyone has a different plan. My NUT didn't tell me I necessarily had to do low carb, just avoid concentrated sweets since my A1c level is borderline diabetic. It sounds like you may have a different plan.

My plan is encouraged to eat complex carbs. But being so early in post op, it's not easy to get them in anyway for me.

What is "too many carbs"? Does your doc or program have a specific limitation, or are you thinking of the fad diets that some promote for weight loss?

I only use the isopure when I have a need for clear liquid protein,
