I remember that feeling. I had to do liquids for 3 weeks post-op because I won't eat any of the carb-laden foods (e.g., ripe banana, cream of wheat, etc.) that they would let me have after 2 weeks. By the end of that time, I was so over it. But, I tried to look at it as a character building experience.

Hang in there!

I know. I hate being whiny. I'm having a low day. I feel hungry and Protein Shakes are grossing me out. I just have to suck it up but I'm still going to ask (beg) to move forward. Three weeks of full liquids is rough!

Does your plan let you do the strained creamed Soup? Having that (with unflavored Protein Powder stirred in) was a lifesaver for me during the last 2 of those 3 weeks. Because of the carbs, I would only let myself have it once per day (maybe twice, I can't remember), but it made a huge difference.

It does. I've had Tomato and it was delish. Today it gagged me. I had butternut squash but the sugars were high so I didn't have any more. I have some cream of wheat I might try. It's not on my list but I see people making it watered down. Yay! Now I'm happy!

Haha, yeah, I hear you. I told my surgeon (yes told, did not ask) that I was ending my post-op clear liquid BS after 10 days. He actually agreed and said it was fine. I think it was along the lines of I either end the diet or I end you. :D

What foods did you move on to? Clear Liquids? Yikes. I was cleared for full liquids after two days. I don't blame you.

Yeah it was moving onto things like yogurt/refried beans/cottage cheese. Was done with broth/sf jello/sf pops.

I'm so sick of shakes and yogurt. Two weeks out and I have my follow up in two days. I'm asking (begging) to be released to puréed foods. People's lives depend on it!

I hear you sister!! Started putting PB in my shake bc I can't stand the flavor anymore. So sick of Soups too. Today I'm allowed to start purees and have my first follow up with surgeon. Cannot wait! How've you been doing as far as losing? I feel like I've stalled, was losing about 1lb a day and it just stopped when I began adding in full liquids. Feeling frustrated.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
