I was sleeved two days ago. Recovering in hotel room. Not much pain, didn't need pain or nausea Med today. Trying to walk a lot. Trying to drink enough, only got 16 ounces yesterday, trying to get more in today. Made a watery Protein Drink and slowly sipping from it too, it's hard. But all things considered, I am doing well. We fly home tomorrow.

Hey my July peeps! I am doing good! I been walking and drinking sips. Got out of surgery and in room at 11:00am. Doc said I had a lot of scarring from my previous surgeries and some herinas. We will fix them after a drop 60lbs. Hoping to make that by end of the year.
I am surprised how good I feel. No drain. No catheter and just started liquid loratab.
Hope all of you are doing well.
We all sitting on the losers bench, ,!!! Ya,hoooooooo!!

Yay! Mostly good news minus the hernia! I'll be in the same boat. Massive lower abdomen scarring from back surgery and stomach area scarring from gallbladder. Plus a hernia above my belly button from an incision that I can't fix till I'm below 30 BMI. That's what finally pushed me to get the sleeve. It looks like a fist sized tumor.

Hope your recovery continues to go well!

Hey Kate!
Yeah I hear ya. Those darn hernias are a pain.
I am feeling good this morning, did some hall walking last night. Hardly no gas pain. I am waiting to see the doc. I usually take Fluid pills and I am beginning to swell with all the fluid pumping in me. So they checking to see if I can have a tiny bit.
Hope everyone is doing great ! Thanks so much for the well wishes!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
